Shred-Fest and Compost Giveaway
The City hosts Shred-Fest four times each year on the first Saturday of February, May, August, and November.

Event takes place rain or shine
Shred-Fest is free to all Victor Valley residents. Residents may bring up to four 20-pound bags or boxes of paper documents for on-site shredding. This is a drive-through event, so please place documents in your trunk for easier unloading. Remove binders, large metal clips, and non-paper items such as CDs or credit cards. Staples are okay.
Compost Giveaway
A free compost giveaway is also available during Shred-Fest. Residents must bring their own containers, and the limit is 50 gallons total. Hard-sided containers are recommended. Compost is available to Victor Valley residents only. No businesses or commercial vehicles.
