Human Resources Staff

Human Resources provides centralized support to City employees, departments, and leadership, with a focus on recruiting, hiring, and retaining a highly qualified workforce dedicated to serving the Victorville community. We partner with departments to ensure employees have the resources, guidance, and support needed to succeed in a dynamic public service environment.

Our services span the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and selection, compensation and classification, benefits administration, training and development, health and safety, policy compliance, workers’ compensation, and labor and employee relations. Through these efforts, we help foster a workplace that is professional, responsive, and aligned with the City’s goals.

The Human Resources Officer leads and oversees the City’s HR Division, managing recruitment, hiring, classification, compensation, benefits, training, workers’ compensation, and employee relations. This role ensures legal compliance, supports City leadership, supervises staff, and promotes fair, effective HR practices.
