Hazardous Waste
Household Hazardous Waste
Many household items cannot be placed in regular trash or recycling carts because they may be harmful to people or the environment. Items such as paint, pesticides, solvents, motor oil and filters, batteries, medicines, sharps, fluorescent tubes, gasoline, cooking oil, and e-waste must be taken to a Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection center.
