Recycling Drop-Off Center

The City of Victorville Recycling Drop-Off Center offers free, year-round recycling and disposal options for a wide variety of materials. The center is open to all Victor Valley residents and businesses for accepted recyclable items, with select programs available to City of Victorville residents only.

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. & Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Please wait for attendant instructions before unloading. Visitors are responsible for unloading their own vehicles, so bring help if needed.

Accepted Recyclable Items

The Recycling Drop-Off Center accepts items such as:

  • Appliances
  • Aluminum cans and foil
  • Cardboard
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Junk mail and clean paper
  • Metal cans and empty aerosol cans
  • Plastic bottles, jars, tubs, trays, buckets, and crates (#1–#7)
  • Computers, monitors, printers, keyboards, mice, and other electronics
  • TVs
  • Scrap metal (no engines or compressed gas cylinders)
  • Mattresses and box springs

Mattress and Box Spring Recycling

The center accepts king, queen, full, and twin mattresses and box springs, as well as futon mattresses, free of charge for all Victor Valley residents.

Not accepted: crib mattresses, sectional sleepers, folding beds, water beds, bed toppers, bedding, and similar items.

Bulky Item Drop-Off for City Residents

City of Victorville residents may also drop off accepted bulky items at no charge. Accepted items include furniture, beds, toilets, dressers, desks, upholstered couches, and chairs.

Not accepted: carpet, hazardous waste, dirt, rock, construction waste, windows, concrete, asphalt, yard waste, bagged or boxed trash, extra trash, or similar materials.

Proof of current City of Victorville residency is required for bulky item disposal. Residents must provide a valid photo ID and a current utility, cable, or landline bill showing a City of Victorville service address. No commercial haulers.

Tire Disposal for City Residents

City of Victorville residents may also dispose of up to five tires at no charge.

Accepted:

  • Car tires
  • Light truck tires
  • Motorcycle tires
  • Tires with rims, except split rims

Not accepted:

  • Semi tires
  • ORV tires
  • Equipment tires
  • Tires from businesses or dealers

Proof of current City of Victorville residency is required for the drop off of tires and furniture items. A photo ID like a driver's license and a utility bill will be asked for.
