Street and Sidewalk Repairs

The Street Maintenance Division maintains and repairs streets and concrete infrastructure throughout the City of Victorville. Routine inspections are performed, and the City uses a pavement management system (MicroPAVER) to assess roadway conditions and prioritize repairs. Personnel also respond to service requests from the community.

Services Provided

Public Works performs maintenance and repairs on asphalt and concrete surfaces, including:

  • Pothole repair
  • Pavement patching
  • Asphalt overlays
  • Slurry seals
  • Sidewalk repair
  • Concrete repairs for curbs and related infrastructure

These services help extend the life of City infrastructure and maintain safe conditions for the community. 

Understanding the Difference

Asphalt (Streets and Roadways)
Asphalt is used for streets and roadways. Common issues include potholes, cracks, and surface wear. Repairs are scheduled based on priority and available resources.

Concrete (Sidewalks and Related Infrastructure)
Concrete is used for sidewalks and related infrastructure. Common issues include cracking, lifting, and trip hazards. Repairs are also scheduled based on priority and available resources.
