Recycled Water

What is Recycled Water?

Recycled Water (RW) is wastewater that has been treated to a high quality level defined in the California Code of Regulations.

The Victorville Water District distributes recycled water that is treated to the highest level (Disinfected Tertiary Recycled Water). It is not approved for drinking, but it is approved for landscape irrigation at schools, parks and golf courses; and can be used for soil compaction, industrial cooling water, and more.
