Surveying
The Survey Division provides a wide variety of services for City projects which include, but are not limited to: boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, subdivision maps, record of surveys, and maintaining the City’s survey control network (benchmarks). Surveying staff serves the public in checking private development subdivision maps, lot line adjustments, easement documents, and legal descriptions submitted to the Development Engineering Division. The Survey Division does not perform boundary and topographic surveys for privately owned property.
