Passport Services

Schedule A Passport Appointment (We do not accept walk-ins)

Do not use courier companies or "passport expeditors." They are private companies that do not operate as a part of the U.S. Department of State. Using a courier company won’t get you your passport faster than applying at a passport agency.

Please note: If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your scheduled appointment time or do not have all the appropriate documentation, you will have to reschedule.

List of Requirements

Adults (16 Years and Older)

  • Completed DS-11 form in black ink.
  • Original Birth Certificate, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or Certificate of Naturalization.
  • If 16 or 17, one parent listed on the proof of citizenship must be present.
  • Applicant's photo identification (ID), such as a driver’s license or military ID.
  • 2 x 2 passport photo. The library offers this service for $20 per photo.
  • Check/money order for passport application fee.
  • Cash or card for facility acceptance and photo fee.

FAQs

Are there any other fees involved?

If you are using our photo service, there is a $20 photo fee per person.

What is the difference between a passport book and a passport card?

A passport book is good for land, sea, and air travel; a passport card is ONLY good for land or sea travel. You would not be able to get on an international flight with the card.

Where can I get the passport application forms?

You can pick up the forms at the Victorville City Library or find them online at travel.state.gov

When will I receive my passport?

The current passport processing times are 4-6 weeks for routine service and 2-3 weeks for expedited service. Applicants can add $60 to the check/money order to receive expedited service.
