FREE motor oil & filter disposal all year long.

Did you know? An old filter contains 10 ounces or more of used oil – even AFTER it has been drained. That oil can pollute water and land if the filter is not disposed of properly. It is against the law to dispose of old filters in the trash.

THE GOOD NEWS: It’s EASY & FREE to recycle your old filters. Take your used oil and filters to your local Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center (HHWCC) or to another Used Oil Certified Collection Center that accepts them.

City of Victorville residents can dispose of motor oil and filters, antifreeze and other chemicals for FREE at our Household Hazardous Waste Collection Center.  Before heading to the collection center, review our disposal guidelines. This service is available only for residential hazardous waste.
