APPLICATION FOR UTILITY BILL DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN
Payment arrangements shall be structured and administered to maximize the successful retirement of past due service amounts owing to the Victorville Water District (“District”) while allowing the customer to retain active water, trash, and / or sewer services.
Financially Unable to Pay: The applicant declares that he/she is financially unable to pay for utility services provided by the City of Victorville's Water District within the normal billing cycle. In order to assist all customers, the District will offer customers one (1) payment plan to allow them an opportunity to eliminate any arrearages that were accrued prior to 01/31/2022. Additional payment plans that do not meet the qualifications for SB-998 will not be allowed.
Notice: Upon receipt of the application, the District will, within five (5) business days: 1) notify the Applicant of the terms of the Deferred Payment Plan; 2) request the Applicant’s signed consent to participate in the Deferred Payment Plan; 3) request additional information from the Applicant (in needed); or 4) notify the Applicant that he/she does not meet the qualifications for a Deferred Payment Plan.
