Measure P:

• Added five Deputy Sheriffs, five Sheriff's Service Specialists and one Crime Analyst in FY2021-2022 
• This addition of personnel will continue to improve response times, reduce crime, increase traffic enforcement and increase neighborhood police patrol
• Establish a capital reserve fund for a new Police Station

• Opened Fire Station 315 on July 3, 2021 
• Now operating Station 315 with a three person crew on each shift
• Purchase a new Water Tender in FY 2022-2023
• Purchase required tools and equipment needed for three new Type I engines arriving this Fall
• Replace all HVAC units at four stations

Allocation Amount: $4,728,024

Measure P will:

• Fund the operations and maintenance at the Interim Homeless Shelter and Wellness Center 
• Provide matching funds for the construction of the Wellness Center
• Develop a program that will provide assistance and incentives for permanent housing

Allocation Amount: $7,171,464

Measure P will:

• Add four new officers that will attend to unlicensed businesses and street vendors, cannabis cultivations, illegal dumping, severely blighted unsecured structures, and homeless outreach and sanitary clean-up efforts
• Purchase one truck replacement 
• Purchase three new trucks, tools, and equipment for incoming officers
• Improve community and commercial appeal
• Reduce community blight
• Expand Animal Control operations to seven days a week to increase public services and response availability related to public animal related nuisances and hazards to residents and animals

Measure P will:

• Purchase new intelligent locker system (kiosk) for the Library as an additional resource for visitor use
• Renovate the Green Tree Golf Course Clubhouse becoming the new Victorville Library
• Purchase new books, furniture, and multimedia supplies for the Library
• Resurface the gymnasium floor at Hook Community Center
• Replaster the Doris Davies Pool
• Replacement of HVAC units at the Activities Center
• Install self cleaning restrooms at Center Street Park and the Victor Valley Transportation Center
• Install a new shade structure at Doris Davies Park

Allocation Amount: $5,375,053

Measure P will:

• Contract services for detailed analysis for the Transactions and Use Tax (TUT)
• Allocate costs for administrative support to take on Measure P programs
• Maintain the baseline costs for Public Safety Maintenance increase
