This plan details the natural and manmade hazards that pose a major risk to our community as well as our strategy for reducing their likelihood and impact.
LHMP Annual Review – Public Survey
We are conducting an annual review of our 2021 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP). The LHMP is our 5-year guide for managing the risk posed by natural and man-made disasters. The purpose of the review is to measure the City’s progress implementing the plan and identify necessary changes. It also allows the City to document major events and changes that affect mitigation efforts. In order to complete this review, we need to hear from you!
Community input is a key part of the LHMP annual review. It allows the City to integrate community concerns, needs, and knowledge in our ongoing mitigation planning and projects. If you live or work in Victorville, please take a moment to complete the short survey linked below.
