The City of Victorville Environmental Programs Division can help you set up a school recycling program. The City can provide fliers, recycling signs and posters, recycling containers, and recommendations on placement of containers and tips for starting and maintaining a successful recycling program. Free Tours and In-Class Presentations

The City of Victorville Environmental Programs Division also invites schools to sign up for FREE Tours of the Victor Valley Materials Recovery Facility and In-Class Presentations. Please contact Burrtec Waste at (760) 245-8607  and ask to speak to the Recycling Coordinator to get more information and to schedule a tour or presentation.

Victorville Recycles Week

Schools are also encouraged to sign up to participate in Victorville Recycles Week where they can compete for cash awards.  Any school, public or private, located in the City of Victorville, may participate in the City of Victorville Recycles Week which is typically held in November. By participating in Recycles Week your school will be contributing to a citywide campaign to promote recycling and competing for cash prizes for both the schools and individual students. For more information on Victorville Recycles Week, please contact Burrtec Waste at (760) 245-8607.  Ask to speak to the Recycling Coordinator.
