The City of Victorville and Victorville Disposal/Burrtec Waste Industries has a variety of FREE options for residents to dispose of their natural and artificial Christmas trees.

  1.  Victorville Disposal/Burrtec Waste Industries will collect both flocked and unflocked NATURAL Christmas trees from residents' curbsides between January 6 through 17, 2025 on customers' regular trash collection days. Reminder: Trash service will be delayed one day during the week of Christmas and New Year’s Day holiday.

  2. DIRECTIONS: Remove all tree stands (including wooden stands), decorations, plastic bags, lights, and ornaments. Ensure your tree is at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day for pickup. If your tree is taller than 6 ft, please cut in half. Christmas trees will be collected by a separate truck, which may arrive earlier or later than the trash, recycling, and organics trucks. Please note: Curbside collection is available for residential customers on barrel service only. Please see our Curbside Christmas Tree Pickup flyer for more information.

  3. Looking to dispose of your tree after January 17? Free bulky items pickups are available to residents on barrel service TWICE a year of up to 5 items. Call Victorville Disposal/Burrtec to schedule a pickup at 760-245-8607 for both natural and artificial Christmas trees. Be sure to remove all decorations and string lights before setting at the curb.
