Trash & Recycling Rates

The City of Victorville has made significant strides in waste management, with a strong focus on increasing recycling and reducing landfill waste. We are working to meet the State's ambitious goals to divert waste from landfills, aiming to recycle and compost 75% of its waste by 2025. We offer curbside recycling programs that collect paper, plastic, and other recyclables, and some also include organic waste, like food scraps and yard waste. Our regulations require businesses and multi-family residences to participate in recycling and composting efforts, helping to boost recycling rates across the state. Overall, we are motivated to help our residents and business have better recycling practices to reduce its environmental impact.

 

One mechanism to support these efforts are through our rates. The City of Victorville adopted its rate study in October 2023, establishing new rates to support state mandates and regulations. The rate schedule and rate study is listed below.
