Community Cleanup Day: April 18 CANCELLED
In an effort to protect public health and slow the rate of transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) our Community Cleanup Day previously scheduled for April 18 has been cancelled. Additional information is available at VictorvilleCA.gov/coronavirus.
The City of Victorville holds two city-wide Community Cleanup Days each year--one on the 3rd Saturday April and one on the 4th Saturday in October.
Volunteers work in teams at multiple locations throughout the City from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Volunteers receive a free event t-shirt and coupons for a discounted lunch at more than a dozen participating restaurants. The City also provides volunteers with bottled water, gloves, trash bags, and litter sticks. The City disposes of all the trash/litter collected.
Since the event began in October 2007, more than 16,866 volunteers have picked up a total of 202 tons of litter from around the City of Victorville!
Sponsorship Opportunities Available!
Want to make a difference in our community and get your name and logo more exposure?
Sponsorship helps cover the actual cost associated with the events, including T-shirts (with your logo on them) for our volunteers, plastic bags, gloves, trash grabbers, bottled water, first aid kits, etc.
We also invite your staff to organize a team of volunteers and join the event. They would each receive an event T-shirt and discount lunch tickets to several local restaurants.
The Victorville Community Cleanup Day is a fun way for families, friends, and coworkers to join together to take care of our desert environment, show community support, and keep Victorville a clean and beautiful place to live and work. We look forward to your support of this great community event. If you are interested in sponsoring this event, please go to our Sponsorship Page.
