Exciting Progress on the New Victorville City Library!

Construction is complete on the new Victorville City Library, which is being developed next door to the Green Tree Golf Course. Now, the move-in process has begun.

A Grand Opening Ceremony is planned for February 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The new Victorville City Library will open its doors for regular business on February 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

This innovative project not only preserves the charm of the existing building but also saves significantly on costs compared to building a brand-new facility from the ground up.

To better serve our community, the project includes a 5,094-square-foot expansion—specifically designed to enhance children’s programming.

Once completed, the new library will be more than twice the size of the current facility.

The additional space will include:

• A dedicated children’s library
• A maker’s space for hands-on creativity
• Multipurpose room
• Tween/teen room
• An adult reading area with a cozy fireplace
• An outdoor reading patio for enjoying Victorville’s sunshine

This project is more than just a library—it's a vibrant community hub combining learning, creativity, and recreation.
