The Doris Davies Trust Scholarship Fund 

Doris Davies was a life-long advocate for the children of the City of Victorville, and her passion for youth sports and education continues through the Doris Davies Trust Scholarship Fund. Funded through her personal trust, this annual scholarship supports high school seniors in Victorville who plan to pursue careers in a Sports or Youth-related field.

Eligible applicants are required to be a high school senior and a resident of the City of Victorville.

Each applicant must submit the following: 

1.  A current transcript of classes and most recent grades;
2. A listing of community service hours acquired over the last two years, including where those hours were served;
3. A 500-word essay describing their educational and career plans along with an explanation of why they are deserving of the scholarship;
4. Letter of reference from a minimum of two non-family members (preferably from teachers); and
5. Proof of Victorville residency

Scholarship recipients are selected based on: 

• Need
• Community Service
• Scholastic Ability

Applications for this scholarship will reopen in March 2026.
