Victorville Planning Commission Will Host Third Workshop To Discuss City’s Future Land Use Plans and Policy
VICTORVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION WILL HOST THIRD WORKSHOP TO DISCUSS CITY’S FUTURE LAND USE PLANS AND POLICY

VICTORVILLE, Calif. – As part of its General Plan Update, the Victorville Planning Commission will host a third public workshop to discuss the City’s Land Use Element on Sept. 29 at 5 p.m. at Victorville City Hall. This workshop will discuss takeaways from prior workshops and the existing Desert Gateway Specific Plan that has not been implemented since its 2009 adoption. Community members are invited to participate in this workshop that will also be available via Zoom and YouTube. The workshop details and agenda will be available at VictorvilleCA.gov/agendas on Sept. 24.
The City of Victorville is in the process of updating its General Plan, which is used by the City to plan for future growth and change in Victorville. In addition to planning for future land use designations, the City will be updating General Plan chapters related to housing needs and safety and creating a new chapter on Environmental Justice.
