CITY OF VICTORVILLE INSTALLS SELF-SERVICE PAYMENT KIOSKS, INCREASES CONVENIENCE & SERVICE OPTIONS FOR UTILITY CUSTOMERS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 26, 2021
VICTORVILLE, Calif. – Today, the City of Victorville announced it has installed four self-service payment kiosks to boost convenience and service options for the City’s sanitation and water customers. Customers can use the kiosks to review account balances and make full or partial payments securely by cash, check, or card.
Two kiosks inside City Hall are available to customers who want to avoid waiting in line during normal service hours; while two kiosks in the north parking lot at City Hall offer customers 24/7, drive up access. The kiosks also provide added options for customers who prefer to social distance during the pandemic. The easy-to-use kiosks offer an ADA-compliant design and bilingual service options in English and Spanish.
The new kiosks add to the City’s diverse payment options including online bill pay at VictorvilleCA.gov/customerservice; pay by phone at (760) 955-5001; and the in-person customer service counter at Victorville City Hall, which is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customer service representatives are available to assist customers at (760) 955-5001 or through an online chat service that the City launched earlier this year at VictorvilleCA.gov/chat. Utility payments will not be accepted through the chat service.
The City used CARES Act funding to purchase the self-service kiosks from CityBase.
Questions about the new kiosks can be directed to (760) 955-5001.
