PRESS RELEASE

RESIDENTIAL TRASH & RECYCLING ROUTES IN VICTORVILLE TO BE ADJUSTED MAY 24

Containers should be placed at curb by 6 a.m. on regularly scheduled pickup days.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 21, 2021

VICTORVILLE, CA – In order to increase efficiency and consistency, Victorville Disposal will adjust residential trash and recycling service routes in the City of Victorville starting May 24. All customer service days will remain the same, but service times may change. To avoid missed service, customers are being asked to put their trash and recycling carts at the curb by 6 a.m. on their regularly scheduled pickup day.

The trash and recycling routes are being adjusted to accommodate growth and to balance out the number of homes serviced by each truck and driver. This will result in more consistent service and finishing times for all routes. Two new trash routes and one new recycling route are being added. All service days will remain the same.

The City is working with Victorville Disposal to notify residents about the change. Reminders about the route change will be posted on the City’s website at VictorvilleCA.gov and its social media accounts. Victorville Disposal will also run radio ads to notify residents about the route changes and to remind customers to place barrels out by 6 a.m. on their regular pickup day.

For more information, residents can call the City of Victorville at (760) 955-8615 or Victorville Disposal at (760) 245-8607.
