City of Victorville Offering Grants to Help Local Nonprofits Provide COVID-19-Related Services
The City of Victorville is offering grants to help eligible nonprofits provide frontline COVID-19 services and programs. The reimbursable grants, of up to $10,000 each, can be used to provide new services or increased services as a result of COVID-19. Eligibility requirements and applications are now available on the City’s website at vv.city/communitygrant and must be submitted no later than 3 p.m. on Friday, May 29. The City’s Community Outreach Grants are being funded through COVID-19 CDBG Funds from HUD. On May 19, the Victorville City Council approved an allocation of $121,579 for the Community Outreach Grants. The City Council also approved an allocation of $445,791 to assist local small businesses through the City’s new Reopen Victorville Small Business Assistance Grants. Applications for the small business assistance grants will be available later this week at vv.city/reopen.
