Post Date:05/21/2020 6:29 PM

The City of Victorville is launching a grant program to assist our local small businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19. The grants of up to $15,000 each are intended to help independently owned and operated small businesses continue their services and retain employees. Applicants must be located within a Victorville CDBG target area, have no more than 20 employees including the business owner(s), have been in operation for at least one year, and demonstrate income loss due to COVID-19. Grant applications will be available the week of May 29 on our website. Please follow the City’s social media channels for additional announcements, or call our Economic Development Department at (760) 955-5032 with questions.
This grant program was approved by the Victorville City Council this past Tuesday, May 19; and will be funded through COVID-19-specific, federal Community Development Block Grant dollars from HUD. A total of $445,791 has been allocated for the City’s Reopening Victorville Small Business Assistance Grants. Preference will be given to businesses located in the Old Town area and minority or female-owned businesses. Funds are limited.
