FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 17, 2020
VICTORVILLE, Calif. – Do you have questions about the 2020 Census? Would you like to learn about the new digital format and how you and your organization can get involved? Census Day, April 1, 2020, is fast approaching. Come join the City of Victorville on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. to learn more about the 2020 Census, how you can participate, and how you can help us obtain a complete count of the High Desert. This community meeting will be held in Conference D at Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Dr.
The results of the 2020 Census will directly affect local and statewide district boundaries and funding in the Victor Valley region for the next 10 years. Federal funds to states and cities directly support local roads, schools, health care, first responders, libraries, food assistance and much more.
Also, Census 2020 will be the first time residents can respond online. The new digital format will be discussed during this meeting.
