Clinics open to dogs and cats owned by Victorville residents by appointment only

VICTORVILLE, Calif. – The City of Victorville will host free spay and neuter clinics on Dec. 3 and Jan. 21 by appointment only for dogs and cats owned by Victorville residents. The clinics will be held at Hesperia Veterinary Services located at 11011 Santa Fe Ave. E #101 in Hesperia.
Appointments are required and space is limited. To schedule an appointment, residents should email Victorville Animal Care and Control at firstname.lastname@example.org. Individual appointment times and dates will be provided upon approved application.
All dogs must be licensed by the City. Cats must be owned by a City resident and up to date with their rabies vaccine. Rabies vaccines will be available for $10 on the day of the procedure if needed. Feral cats will not be accepted at the clinics.
Base surgery costs for spay or neuter will be covered. Additional fees and services may be required for animals over five years old, brachycephalic breeds, aggressive animals, animals with cryptorchidism, females in heat or pregnant, or animals requiring additional safety measures.
The free spay and neuter clinics are made possible through a grant from the State of California Department of Food and Agriculture.
