Free Dump Day & Recycle Event

This event is for City of Victorville residents only!

Mark your calendars and plan to attend our next City of Victorville Free Dump Day and Recycle event on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the campus of the former U-Prep/Victor Valley Jr. High School Campus, located at 16925 Forrest Ave.  Entrance to the event will be off of 8th Street.

Residents can dispose of furniture, garden trimmings, appliances, scrap metal, scrap wood/lumber, and extra trash during our Free Dump Day and Recycle Event.

This event for City of Victorville residents only.  Proof of City residency is required, including a valid photo ID AND a current utility bill showing a City of Victorville service address.  NO business materials or commercial haulers/vehicles.

 ATTENDEES MUST UNLOAD THEIR OWN VEHICLES.   No dumping on the ground. Materials must be placed into provided bins.

Note: NO TVs, computers, tires, asbestos items, oil, or hazardous materials will be accepted at this event.  Please visit www.VictorvilleCA.gov/DumpItRightVV or call 760-955-8615 for info on year-round, FREE disposal options for tires, electronics, used oil, and filters.  

Attendees must remain in their vehicles until instructed by an attendant to unload vehicles and must follow social distancing protocols in effect on date of the event.  Please do not visit this event if you are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

  • By entering into the event area, attendees are self-attesting that you are not experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have a fever of 100.4 or higher.
  • Fully vaccinated attendees are not required to wear a face covering.
  • Non-vaccinated attendees are required to wear a face covering.
  • Social Distancing is encouraged for all.

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious virus that spreads easily through person-to-person contact. Contacting the COVID-19 virus may lead to severe illness, personal injury, permanent disability, or death. The City of Victorville complies with CDC and the Department of Public Health recommendations for enhanced health and safety measures related to COVID-19 to help reduce the risk of contracting the virus. However, an inherent risk of exposure exists when individuals access public facilities, parks or events. By visiting a City facility, park or event, attendees voluntarily assume all risks relate to exposure to COVID-19.
