Low Cost Vaccination Clinic, Licensing and Adoption Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 8, 2018

VICTORVILLE, Calif. – Do you need to vaccinate that cute pooch of yours? Are you looking for a new, “fur-ever” friend? If so, come out to the low-cost dog vaccination and adoption event organized by the City of Victorville and the VVAPL Humane Society on Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event will be take place in front of Victorville City Hall located at 14343 Civic Dr.

A variety of helpful services will be provided during this event. The City of Victorville will offer low-cost dog vaccinations to all dog owners in the High Desert and dog licensing services to Victorville residents only. In addition, VVAPL will have dogs available for adoption; and VVAPL will microchip dogs with a City of Victorville license for free with proof of license. Dogs that don’t qualify for the free microchip can be chipped for $10.

The rabies and Bordetella vaccinations will cost $8, and DHPP vaccinations will cost $17. Combination vaccines will also be offered at a discount. Vaccinations must be paid for with cash only. Victorville dog licenses may be paid for using cash, check or credit card.

Adoption fees for dogs four months and older start at $25 while the fees for dogs under four months start at $45. Adoption fees include vaccines, spay/neuter and a microchip. Coldwell Banker Home Source will sponsor four, FREE pet adoptions during the event as part of its Homes for Dogs National Adoption Weekend.No coupons or promo codes will be accepted at this event. All dogs must be crated or leashed and under the control of an adult.
