Online Permitting Coming October 16!

The City is excited to announce the launch of our new online permitting system beginning October 16, 2017.  Through this new system, you will be able to pay fees, submit plans, apply for permits, check plan review and application statuses, correspond with your plan checker, obtain permits, and schedule inspections all online.  Please keep in mind, all plan submittals, applications and inspections will be completed online meaning paper submittals will no longer be accepted beginning October 16.

The Engineering Division of the Development Department is responsible for plan check of all improvements related to new construction and the plan check and recordation of Final Parcel Maps and Final Tract Maps.

Additionally, the division provides initial comments at the Pre-Submittal meeting, and eventually provides conditions of approval when projects go before the Planning Commission.

Improvements mentioned above include streets, sewer, storm drain, grading and water. Once plan check is completed and approved mylars are signed, applicants will be referred to the City Engineering Department for permit issuance and inspection of improvements.
