Election Information

The City of Victorville has five elected officials who are the members of the City Council. The City's Mayor is appointed by the other Councilmembers and is selected every two years after the regular election.

City elections are held in November of even-numbered years in conjunction with the Statewide General Election.

Who Can Vote
Anyone who is a registered voter of the City at least two weeks before the election may vote.

Nomination Petitions for the City Council
To run for City Council, you must obtain a nomination petition and accompanying documentation at the City Clerk’s office.
