From the nearly 300 essays submitted by local fourth graders, the essays written by Carley Lawhead, Aaron Hanson and Madison Young were selected the winners!  Click here to read the press release.

Celebrate the 4th of July in Victorville

Bring the family out for the biggest and most spectacular fireworks show in the High Desert. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. at the Fairgrounds. Admission and parking are free!  No pets, alcohol or BBQ's permitted. Tune into the Route 103.1 FM to hear the show!

Road Work on Palmdale Road Planned for June 21 - 23

Caltrans (lead agency) and the City of Victorville are collaborating on a project to slurry seal Palmdale Road from El Evado Road to Green Tree Boulevard that necessitates a full road closure on June 21 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and lane closures June 22 & 23.  You are invited to learn more at an Information Session, June 15 at 6 p.m. in Conference Room D at City Hall.  Please click here to read the press release, and click here for the event flyer.
